KETENGAH's 2nd Defensive Driving Course 2026: Strengthening Safety and Professionalism Among Department Drivers

7 to 9 April 2026 – The role of a department driver extends far beyond simply transporting passengers from one place to another. They carry with them the image of the organisation, the safety of its officers, and the smooth conduct of official duties. Every time an official vehicle is on the road, the public sees it as a reflection of KETENGAH's discipline and professionalism.
With this in mind, and as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the knowledge, competency, discipline, and safety awareness of its department drivers, Lembaga Kemajuan Terengganu Tengah (KETENGAH) organised the 2nd Defensive Driving Course 2026 from 7 to 9 April 2026 at the Grand Puteri Hotel, Kuala Terengganu.
The closing ceremony of the course was officiated by YBrs. Encik Hasri bin Omar, Senior Manager (Corporate) of KETENGAH, and was also attended by YBrs. Tuan Haji Abdul Halim bin Yusof, Manager of Administration and Human Resource Management.
Throughout the course, participants were exposed to safe driving practices, road risk management, and adherence to the organisation's official driving procedures and ethics.
The successful organisation of this course reflects KETENGAH's continued commitment to fostering a professional, integrity-driven, and safety-oriented workplace culture — for the benefit of both the organisation and the wider community.
