The handover ceremony for two projects under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) was successfully held on 30 November 2026 at Pengkalan Gawi, Tasik Kenyir, Hulu Terengganu, Terengganu. The projects involved the replacement and upgrading of six (6) jetties at Tasik Kenyir, Hulu Terengganu, and the maintenance and upgrading of buildings and related works at Taman Orkid, Tasik Kenyir, Hulu Terengganu.

The ceremony was attended by YBhg. Dato’ Shaharuddin bin Abu Sohot, Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC). The signing session and the handover of Project Completion Certificates were officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Shaharuddin, representing MOTAC, and YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager, representing the Terengganu Tengah Development Authority (KETENGAH).

During the event, the PPUN Project Plaque was handed over to YBrs. Encik Mohd Fadli bin Ngah, District Officer of Hulu Terengganu. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of souvenirs and a group photo session.

Following the ceremony, YBhg. Dato’ KSU visited Taman Herba, Pulau Sah Kecil, to inspect one of the completed jetty projects and participated in a symbolic tree-planting session, marking the official visit to Tasik Kenyir.
