KEMAMAN TERENGGANU CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT BOARD DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE SERIES 3 YEAR 2026

Lembaga Kemajuan Terengganu Tengah (KETENGAH), through its Administration and Human Resource Management Division, organised the Kemaman Terengganu Central Development Board Defensive Driving Course Series 3 Year 2026 in collaboration with TTI Management, Kuala Terengganu. The three-day course, held at Bukit Besi Golf Club, Dungun, Terengganu, was attended by 30 KETENGAH staff members.
The objective of this course was to enhance participants' knowledge, skills, and awareness regarding the importance of practising safe, courteous, and responsible driving. In addition to strengthening road safety culture among employees, the course also emphasised compliance with road traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, risk management while driving, and the development of disciplined and professional driver attitudes.
Throughout the course, participants attended various lecture sessions, knowledge sharing, and interactive training conducted by experienced speakers from the Royal Malaysia Police Kuala Terengganu, Road Transport Department (JPJ) Kuala Terengganu, Council and Protocol Coordination Unit, State Secretary's Office (SUK) Terengganu, and several other related agencies.
The course content covered aspects of road safety, driver ethics and responsibilities, risk management while driving, communication, and official driving protocols, as well as sharing best practices to produce more competent and integrated drivers.
The closing ceremony of the course was officiated by Tuan Haji Mahdi Amin bin Ahmad, Deputy General Manager of Operations KETENGAH, accompanied by Tuan Haji Abdul Halim bin Yusof, Manager of Administration and Human Resource Management.
In his speech, he emphasised that road safety is not only an individual responsibility but also a shared responsibility that needs to be instilled as a culture within the organisation. He also hoped that every participant would apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the course in their daily tasks, thereby contributing to reducing accident risks, improving safety levels, and strengthening KETENGAH's professional image.
The organisation of this course reflects KETENGAH's continuous commitment to empowering human capital development through the implementation of quality training programmes relevant to current needs. It is hoped that such efforts will continue to produce competent, ethical, courteous, and safety-conscious employees while driving, in line with KETENGAH's aspiration to cultivate a safe, efficient, and excellent work environment.
