The Minister of Education Conducts an Official Working Visit to Terengganu

YB Fadhlina Sidek, Minister of Education, carried out an official working visit to Terengganu, visiting Sekolah Kebangsaan Shukor and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Kuala Jengal, Dungun, to assess the current condition of schools affected by annual flood disasters.
She stated that repairs for flood-affected schools would be carried out promptly to ensure that upcoming school sessions would proceed without disruption. At the same time, she also had the opportunity to observe the implementation of the English Speaking Test for students sitting for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Kuala Jengal.
Additionally, she received a briefing on post-flood assistance provided to affected schools and interacted with volunteers from the MADANI Ihsan Squad of the Ministry of Education (KPM), who play a key role in post-disaster recovery efforts.
Also present during the visit were YBrs. Dr. Mohd Azam bin Ahmad, Rector of the Malaysian Institute of Teacher Education and acting Deputy Director-General of Education (Professional Development Sector), YBrs. Tuan Haji Jelani bin Sulong, Terengganu State Education Director, and YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH.
