The Terengganu State National Security Council (MKN, JPM), in collaboration with the Central Terengganu Development Authority (KETENGAH), organised a talk session with houseboat and speedboat operators, traders, and local villagers near Pengkalan Gawi, Tasik Kenyir, on 20 July 2024 (Saturday) at the Kenyir Information Centre (PPK), Pengkalan Gawi, Tasik Kenyir.

This district-level programme is conducted from time to time under the Community Based Security Management (CBSM) initiative.

The programme aims to provide exposure to the target groups on cultivating a safety mindset in the field, thereby strengthening a Civil Society at the grassroots level through the Comprehensive Security (COMSEC) concept.

Also involved in supporting the programme were relevant agencies, including the Marine Police Force Region 3, Tasik Kenyir, the Terengganu State Parks Management Council (MPTN), and the Hulu Terengganu District Forestry Office.
