The KETENGAH Community Clean-Up Program, held in conjunction with the Komander Kesatria Endurance Challenge (KKEC) 2024, was successfully conducted by KETENGAH in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Terengganu Branch.

The KKEC program took place from 2 to 7 September 2024 (Monday to Saturday) and involved 700 UiTM students from across Malaysia, who were based at UiTM Bukit Besi Campus.

The clean-up activities included tree trimming, area cleaning, and painting works at Surau Kampung Padang Lalang, Bukit Besi Esplanade Square, Tasik Puteri Waterfall area, and along the entrance route to Bandar Bukit Besi, in collaboration with KETENGAH staff.

Also present at the program were the UiTM Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Haji Mohd Sazili Shahibi; Encik Faizol bin Abd Aziz representing the KETENGAH General Manager; and members of the Federal Village Development and Security Committee (JPKKP) Bukit Besi.

This collaboration between KETENGAH and UiTM has promoted Tasik Puteri as one of the attractive tourism destinations. It is hoped that the impact of such programs will help enhance human capital development in the local community and further position KETENGAH tourism areas as unique destinations worth visiting and exploring.
