Madani Community Engagement Programme for the Orang Asli in the KETENGAH Region

The Madani Community Engagement Programme for the Orang Asli Community in the KETENGAH Region was held at Kampung Sungai Pergam, Kemaman, in collaboration with the Felda Seberang Tayor Youth Association, Kemaman.
The programme involved the Orang Asli community and several government agencies, including the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), the Kemaman District Health Office, and the Road Transport Department (JPJ), and was complemented with traditional sports activities together with the community.
The programme was officiated by the Chairman of KETENGAH, YBhg. Dato’ Seri Dr. Haji Ahmad bin Said. Also present, representing the General Manager of KETENGAH, was Encik Faizol bin Abd Aziz, Manager of Community and Social Development, KETENGAH, as well as the Village Head of Kampung Sungai Pergam, Encik Roslan bin Semail.
It is hoped that such programmes will continue to be implemented to strengthen ties between the community and government agencies as well as non-governmental organisations (NGOs) within the KETENGAH region.
