On 18 September 2024 (Wednesday), a storm occurred in several areas of the Kemaman District, causing damage to homes, including those of residents in the Bandar Seri Bandi municipality, Kemaman.

KETENGAH, through the KETENGAH Foundation, provided financial assistance to help ease the burden of residents affected by the incident, particularly for home repairs.

YBhg. Dato’ Seri (Dr.) Haji Ahmad bin Said, Chairman of KETENGAH and also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the KETENGAH Foundation, was present to hand over the contributions to the affected residents.

Also present were the Deputy General Manager (Operations), Tuan Haji Ahmad Fakaruddin bin Ahmad, local community leaders, and the Chairpersons of the Federal Village Development and Security Committee (JPKKP) from the affected villages. It is hoped that this contribution will assist all the victims involved.
