Kuala Terengganu, 12-13 August 2026 | The Central Terengganu Development Board (KETENGAH) organised the 2026 KETENGAH Rural Developer Empowerment Workshop for the People's Welfare Development Scheme (SPKR), which lasted for 2 Days and 1 Night at Raia Hotel & Convention Centre.

This workshop was held as a platform to strengthen the knowledge, understanding, and capabilities of KETENGAH Rural Developers in carrying out their role as mobilisers and agents of people's welfare in the villages of the KETENGAH Region. Among the main contents of the workshop were brainstorming sessions and sharing of experiences related to investigation methods and verification of information for applications for the Prosperous People's Housing Programme (PPRS) and the Income Enhancement Programme (PPP). This session also provided a space for participants to share real experiences, identify current issues and challenges faced when on the ground, and discuss more systematic, accurate, and effective approaches in the process of reviewing and verifying applicant information.

The workshop was also graced by the presence of the Rural Community Development Division, Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), led by YBrs. Encik Zaflin bin Pakwanteh, Secretary of the Rural Community Development Division. This collaboration and sharing of expertise between KETENGAH and KKDW reflect a continuous commitment to strengthening the capacity and competence of community mobilisers, as well as enhancing the effectiveness of the implementation of the People's Welfare Development Scheme (SPKR) in the KETENGAH Region.
