FELDA Terengganu Festival Strengthens Unity Among Settlers and the Community

DUNGUN, 14 February 2026 — The FELDA Terengganu Festival, held from 13 to 15 February 2026 in Ketengah Jaya, successfully brought together approximately 2,300 settlers and community members over the first two days of the event and is set to conclude tomorrow.
The programme, organised by the Lembaga Kemajuan Tanah Persekutuan (FELDA) in collaboration with the Lembaga Kemajuan Terengganu Tengah (KETENGAH), served as a significant platform to strengthen unity and foster closer strategic relations between development agencies and FELDA communities throughout the state of Terengganu.
The festival was officially inaugurated by the Chairman of KETENGAH, Dato’ Rozi bin Mamat. In his address, he stated that the strategic relationship between KETENGAH and FELDA has been established for many years, encompassing various aspects of community, social and economic development. He emphasised that the FELDA community remains a vital strategic partner in advancing comprehensive, integrated and inclusive regional development.
“This collaboration will continue to be strengthened through the implementation of various joint programmes and initiatives. Regional development requires sustained synergy and commitment from all parties to ensure sustainable outcomes, in line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI,” he said.
He further underscored the importance of reinforcing solidarity and unity among settlers and the local community to ensure that development plans can be realised effectively for the well-being and prosperity of society in the KETENGAH region and the state of Terengganu.
Throughout the three-day festival, a range of community activities, agency exhibitions, entrepreneurship programmes and social initiatives were featured, providing direct benefits to settlers and visitors while strengthening collaborative networks between government agencies and rural communities.
