The Kenyir Eco Talk 2025 (KET2025) programme, held in conjunction with the Kenyir Geopark Festival (FKG) 2025 under the theme “Exploring the Lake Panorama,” took place in a vibrant, inspiring atmosphere filled with a spirit of love for nature and the promotion of tourism products.

Based on the TED Talk concept, the programme served as a platform for knowledge and inspiration, featuring engaging topics on Heritage & Culture, Ecotourism & Nature, Rural Gastronomy, and Tourism Packages, highlighting the uniqueness of Kenyir Geopark as an iconic tourism destination in Terengganu.

KET2025 featured a distinguished lineup of speakers comprising researchers, academics, industry practitioners, and representatives from local tourism associations. The programme successfully attracted more than 500 participants from various government and private agencies, higher education institutions, associations, and industry players — both in person and online.

As a highlight of the experience, participants also had the opportunity to cruise across the scenic Lake Kenyir by boat, immersing themselves in the breathtaking natural treasures and geopark ecosystem.

The organisation of KET2025 is expected to further raise awareness of Terengganu’s rich biodiversity, natural heritage, and cultural uniqueness, while strengthening Kenyir Geopark as a leading ecotourism destination and a source of pride for Malaysia.
