MBIP AKRAB Benchmarking Visit to KETENGAH Strengthens Cooperation and Staff Well-being

DUNGUN, 2 September 2026 – The Central Terengganu Development Board (KETENGAH) received a benchmarking visit from the Public Service Counsellor Associates (AKRAB) of Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP), Johor, to strengthen cooperation and share best practices in the implementation of AKRAB programmes.
The delegation of 20 people was led by Puan Hajah Nur Huda binti Sanusi, Legal Officer cum Vice Chairman of AKRAB MBIP, and also included Puan Balkish binti Ab Kadir, Psychology Officer cum Coordinator of AKRAB MBIP. The delegation was welcomed by Tuan Haji Mohd Radzi bin Md Noor, Deputy General Manager (Development) cum Chairman of AKRAB KETENGAH.
This benchmarking visit aimed to expose the AKRAB MBIP delegation to best practices in the implementation of AKRAB programmes and mentor-mentee programmes. The visit also focused on aspects of programme management and implementation, the delivery of psychological and counselling services, and competency development among AKRAB members.
Besides being a platform for sharing knowledge and experience, this visit also opened avenues for exchanging views and exploring the best approaches to enhance the effectiveness of AKRAB programme implementation, especially in supporting the well-being and development of staff.
KETENGAH expresses its appreciation for the visit and the sharing of knowledge and experience by the AKRAB MBIP delegation. May this established cooperation continue to be strengthened in efforts to empower quality, integrity-driven, and staff well-being-oriented public service.
