30 Participants Join KETENGAH 2025 Competitive Community Empowerment Course

A total of 30 participants from Kampung Jerangau, Kampung Serdang, and Kampung Dadong in the KETENGAH region joined the 2025 Competitive Community Empowerment Programme (Sustainable Community), a two-day course held from 3 to 4 October at Hotel Tanjong Vista.
Organised by KETENGAH, the programme aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge and skills in management, finance, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing for cooperatives, in line with the goal of developing a progressive, sustainable, and competitive community.
Throughout the programme, participants attended various guidance and knowledge-sharing sessions conducted by related institutions, including:
Cooperative Management and Finance Basics by Institut Koperasi Malaysia (IKMa)
Business and Digital Marketing Basics by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)
Operational Briefing and Visit to the Rapid Bio-Floc Freshwater Fish Project at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT)
Cooperative Way Forward discussion by UiTM and IKMa
The closing ceremony and certificate presentation were officiated by Deputy General Manager (Development) of KETENGAH, Encik Zainuddin bin Haji Md Zaki, with the presence of Encik Faizol bin Abd Aziz, Community and Social Development Manager of KETENGAH.
This programme is expected to serve as a crucial platform for nurturing knowledgeable, resilient community entrepreneurs capable of generating sustainable local economic growth, in line with KETENGAH’s mission to empower its regional communities.
