2024 OFFICIAL DOCUMENT WRITING COURSE FOR KETENGAH OFFICERS

Official document writing, particularly in meetings, forms the foundation of effective communication within an organization. It reflects the professionalism of a department and serves as an important medium for conveying information and making decisions.
Officers assigned as meeting secretaries are well aware of the challenges in official document writing, as much of the language used tends to be overly technical or difficult for readers or meeting participants to understand. Confusion can arise if the documents do not accurately reflect the actual decisions made during the meeting.
Therefore, the General Manager of KETENGAH aims to ensure that officers are proficient in official document writing. The implementation of this course is intended to help officers understand the fundamental principles of official document writing, provide practical guidance to improve accuracy, clarity, and professionalism, and enhance confidence in preparing high-quality official documents.
In addition, this course facilitates workflow and boosts confidence in both internal and external communications. High-quality official documents reflect an efficient and well-managed departmental image.
The course involved nearly 40 Management and Professional Officers of KETENGAH. It was conducted by the Administration and Human Resources Management Division in collaboration with Ms. Noorzaidah binti Mohamed Noor, Language Officer from Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. The closing ceremony was officiated by Mr. Hasri bin Omar, Manager of the Administration and Human Resources Management Division.
