Distribution of KETENGAH Disaster Relief Kits to Flood-Affected Areas

KETENGAH is deeply aware of the needs of communities affected by floods and has provided assistance to victims housed in Temporary Evacuation Centers (PPS).
To date, Dungun district is the most severely affected by the first wave of flooding. A total of 2,466 people from 620 families remain accommodated in 12 PPS across Dungun within the KETENGAH region.
YBrs. Tuan Haji Mohd Radzi bin Md Noor, Property and Local Authority Manager, personally handed over the aid at PPS SK Delong, PPS DORA Bukit Merah, and PPS Kg. Pinang Emas. Also present was Mr. Fadhli Azizi bin Yusof, Coordinator of the KETENGAH Regional Disaster Operations Room.
For your information, as of 5:00 p.m., a total of 2,568 flood victims from 648 families were still housed in 15 PPS across the region, covering the districts of Dungun, Kemaman, and Hulu Terengganu.
