BENCHMARKING VISIT OF THE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT DIVISION (BPTMK) KETENGAH TO ISKANDAR PUTERI CITY COUNCIL (MBIP) JOHOR DARUL TA’ZIM

Lembaga Kemajuan Terengganu Tengah (KETENGAH) through its Information and Communication Technology Development Division (BPTMK) conducted a benchmarking visit to Iskandar Puteri City Council on May 19, 2026, to gain exposure and share knowledge related to smart city initiatives and information technology management implemented by MBIP.
The KETENGAH delegation was warmly welcomed by MBIP, led by Hj Nor Rahman bin Mustaffa, Director of Iskandar Puteri Smart City, along with MBIP officers. The KETENGAH delegation was led by Encik Hazroll Eizwall bin Jasni, Manager of Information and Communication Technology Development. Also joining the visit was a representative from Lembaga Kemajuan Johor Tenggara (KEJORA), namely YBhg. Datin Siti Azni binti Zakaria, Information Technology Manager.
Throughout the visit, MBIP shared various information and experiences related to smart city development, the use of digital technology, the operation of smart control centers, and the implementation of digital systems that support administrative efficiency and community well-being.
In addition to briefing and sharing sessions, the delegation was also given a detailed explanation of the smart applications and systems used by MBIP to improve service delivery quality, monitor city operations, and manage data more efficiently, systematically, and integrally.
This benchmarking visit is hoped to open avenues for strategic cooperation and best practice sharing between agencies, thereby adding value to KETENGAH in strengthening the organization's digitalization efforts towards a more modern, responsive, and effective public service delivery. KETENGAH extends its highest appreciation and thanks to MBIP for their willingness to host the KETENGAH delegation and for sharing their experiences, expertise, and information throughout this benchmarking visit.
