PSYCHOLOGY PROGRAMME "ARE WE IN SYNC?" FOR KETENGAH OFFICERS AND STAFF IN 2026

8 July 2026 – KETENGAH's Administration and Human Resource Management Division, in collaboration with AKRAB KETENGAH and PUSPANITA KETENGAH Sub-Branch, organised the "Are We In Sync?" Psychology Programme for KETENGAH Officers and Staff in 2026, held at Bukit Besi Golf Club, Dungun.
The programme, attended by 60 KETENGAH officers and staff, as well as several members of KETENGAH Management, is one of KETENGAH's initiatives for the psychological well-being of its workforce, to enhance communication effectiveness, and to foster a more harmonious work culture, mutual respect, and appreciation among one another.
The organisation of this programme is also KETENGAH's continuous effort in empowering human capital development and supporting the formation of a positive and high-performing work culture. This initiative also takes into account feedback and suggestions raised through discussion platforms from KETENGAH NGOs, especially regarding the importance of increasing mutual appreciation among staff, strengthening understanding, and creating a more conducive and inclusive work environment. Therefore, this programme was held as a proactive approach to strengthen interpersonal relationships and the spirit of togetherness among KETENGAH staff.
The talk was delivered by Encik Mohd Yusnoruddin bin Mohd Yuznah, Psychology Officer, Terengganu State Secretary's Office, who shared various approaches and best practices related to organisational psychology, interpersonal communication, emotional management, and building more positive and effective working relationships.
To ensure a more interactive and impactful delivery for the participants, the programme also included several interesting activities such as "We Are One Team", Role Play: Love Language at Work and in the Family, and a Sharing Session "Then, Now and Future". Through these activities, participants were exposed to the importance of understanding individual communication styles and appreciation languages, building trust within the team, and strengthening relationships not only within the organisation but also with family members.
The Closing Ceremony was officiated by Tuan Haji Mohd Radzi bin Md Noor, Deputy General Manager (Development) KETENGAH, who was accompanied by To' Puan Anizal binti Yusoff, Chairman of PUSPANITA KETENGAH Sub-Branch.
In his speech, Tuan Haji Mohd Radzi bin Md Noor emphasised that the excellence of a department depends not only on the efficiency of task execution but also on the strength of relationships among colleagues. He hoped that the knowledge and content gained throughout this programme could be applied in daily tasks to create a more positive work culture, mutual support, and based on the spirit of togetherness.
KETENGAH's Administration and Human Resource Management Division is committed to continuously implement various human capital development programmes that add value to the workforce, not only in terms of increasing competency and professionalism but also by emphasising psychological well-being, emotional intelligence, and the formation of a healthy work culture. These efforts are hoped to produce KETENGAH staff who are more competitive, with integrity, mutually appreciative, and capable of providing quality services to customers and the community.
Our highest appreciation goes to AKRAB KETENGAH, PUSPANITA KETENGAH Sub-Branch, Encik Mohd Yusnoruddin bin Mohd Yuznah as the speaker, the secretariat, and all participants for their commitment and cooperation in making this programme a success.
"When communication is strengthened, understanding is fostered, and teamwork is empowered, KETENGAH will continue to move forward in sync towards an excellent and high-performing organisation."
